Aquatic therapy is a proven therapeutic activity for individuals with orthopaedic and neurologic limitations. Unlike larger gym or olympic-sized pools, our manual therapies are performed in 92 - 96 degree of warmth in a private, indoor pool.
We understand the importance of one-on-one treatment, and we have designed our facility to ensure the utmost privacy and comfort during your aquatic therapy session by offering private dressing rooms and separate entrance.
During your aquatic therapy session, your therapist may assign certain exercises to maximize your recovery. These exercises include kicking, swimming, jumping, jogging, walking, squatting, and other continuous rhythmic activities that improve cardiovascular function and elevate metabolism. Several types of devices such as floatable bars, noodles and vests are used to allow patients of all abilities to participate. You don’t have to know how to swim to benefit from this great form of therapy!
